Saddle Connector (Reduces length version)

"ACE" saddle connector are designed for non - tension service and jumper connection. For making connection between aluminium overhead conductors and copper service conductors, the grease filled aluminum tube should be used.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS :

1. Prepare the conductor by applying a suitable grease and abrading through the grease.

2. Remove the keeper assembly and fit the connector body into the connector.

3. Insert the other  connector & replace the keeper assembly, finally tightening the bolt securely.

NOTE:
For copper service conductor the aluminum tube should first be pushed fully over the copper conductor and any surplus grease wiped off. Ensure that the copper conductor is below the aluminum conductor. Connection made in accordance with the above instruction meet the electrical & mechanical requirements of the electricity supply industry.
